Aglaonema 'Pink Leopard' in 12 cm pot

Commonly named the Chinese Evergreen.  Native to tropical Southeast Asia and New Guinea.

The Aglaonema 'Pink Leopard' is a slightly rarer variety of the Aglaonema genus.  With its dark green, less pointy leaves than the others, the Pink Leopard has a generous dose of beautiful pink splashes creating this striking leopard effect.  Simply stunning! 

The Aglaonema is a very easy plant to care for.  Tolerant of low light levels, although light does enable those beautiful leaf markings to continue to stand out.  Just be careful to avoid direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves. Water when the soil is almost, but not completely dry.  Never allow your plant to sit in water as this will lead to root rot.  Being a native to the Tropical regions of Southeast Asia, the Aglaonema loves humidity.  It will therefore thrive in a bathroom or kitchen, however, the humidity required can be easily managed by simply misting the plant a couple of times of week or placing on a tray of pebbles filled with a few centimetres of water.
