Alocasia 'Silver Dragon' in 6 cm pot

Commonly referred to as the Dragon Scale Plant.  Native to Southeast Asia.

Alocasia 'Silver Dragon' features thick, heart-shaped leaves with a silvery sheen, accented by dark green veins that create a contrasting pattern. The leaf surface has a textured, almost metallic appearance, giving the plant its “silver” designation and making it a standout addition to any collection.

Preferring bright to indirect light.  Avoid direct sunlight as this will dull the colours in the leaves.  Keep soil evenly moist, avoid over watering and do not the plant completely dry out.  The Alocasia cuprea 'Red Secret' loves humidity! Sit on a tray of pebbles and water or place in a humid room such as a bathroom or kitchen.
