Alocasia 'Black Jack' / Cyrtosperma johnstonii in 12 cm pot

Commonly referred to as the Spiny Taro or Giant Taro.  Native to the Solomon Islands in Oceania.

The Alocasia 'Black Jack' or Cyrtopsperma johnstonii is a large, tropical aroid prized for its dramatic, arrow-shaped, slightly textured leaves.  Bright green in colour with deep red veining.  A real show-stopper!

To care for an Alocasia Black Jack, provide bright, indirect light and water consistently, ensuring the soil is moist but never waterlogged. Maintain high humidity and keep temperatures between 18-28°.
