Anthurium warocqueanum (War-o-kwee-ahn-um). Commonly and aptly named Queen Anthurium. Native to the tropical rainforests of Columbia where it can be found growing as an epiphytic tree dweller in humid, shaded environments.
Now, if plants did cat walks the Anthurium warocqueanum would make its appearance right at the end of the show! Secure in the knowledge that it was by far one of the most seductive and alluring of them all! With its elongated dark green, velvety leaves and white venations this tropical houseplant needs very little in the way of sales patter. Anthurium warocqueanum can have leaves up to 2 metres long and 25cm wide when fully mature, making this majestic botanical wonder the perfect addition to your tropical houseplant collection.
The Anthurium warocqueanum is easy to keep happy as long as you consider they thrive in tropical rainforests. Preferring bright but indirect light and temperatures between 18° and 27°, but certainly no lower than 15°. Humidity should ideally between 50% and 80% but the higher than better. Water when the soil is almost but not completely dry.
Please note; these plants are real! It would be unrealistic to expect them to be appear perfect. Rather like humans, they are not free of scarring and blemishes.
