Begonia rex 'Silver Jewel' in 15 cm pot

Scientifically known as the Begonia imperialis x pustulata 'Silver Jewels'.  Native to the tropical regions of Southeast Asia.

Begonia 'Silver Jewel' is a striking hybrid of Begonia pustulata and Begonia imperialis. This  luxurious plant features textured, heart-shaped leaves with striking metallic silver tones and dark green patches.

In terms of the care for the Begonia 'Silver Jewell', it's important to  keep the plant in a well-lit location but not exposed to direct sunlight Ideally, the soil should be kept continuously moist, but not saturated.  As a rainforest native the Begonia 'Silver Jewel' thrives in high humidity.
