Crassula perforata 'Variegata' in 5 cm pot

Common names include String of Buttons and Necklace Vine.  Native to the Cape Provinces of South Africa.

This quirky fast-growing succulent has leaves on stems which appear to be stacked atop of each other.  As the plant matures, the stems will pendulate over the side of the pot or planter giving the Crassula perforata a playful appearance.

  Avoid prolonged periods of direct sunlight though as this can damage the leaves.  Water when the soil is completely dry.
