Episcia - Flame Violet in 12 cm pot

Commonly referred to as the Flame Violet.  Native to the rainforests of central and south America.

These fantastic and rarely seen tropical houseplants are known for their striking, velvety leaves and bright red tubular flowers.  Espiscias are popular choices for hanging planters and terrariums for their trailing habit! 

Especias love moisture and do not like to be left to completely dry out!  Preferring bright, indirect light, warmth and humidity!
