Gynura aurantiaca 'Purple Passion' in 6 cm pot

Commonly named Purple Passion or the Velvet plant.  Native to Southeast Asia.
The leaves are almost iridescent in colour, made up of the softest purple hairs which creates an almost velvet appearance.  Native to Southeast Asia the Gynura is a fast-growing plant and requires bright to indirect sunlight in order to thrive and please note, the more light this plant gets the deeper the colour.  Stunning!  This beautiful, easy-going plant loves humidity and is therefore a popular choice for a terrarium. Although, equally as stunning on a sunny windowsill.  Water when the top inch of soil has dried out.
