Monstera obliqua 'Monkey Leaf' mini in 5 cm pot

Commonly referred to as the Swiss Cheese Plant.  Native to the rain forests of Mexico and Central America.  The 'Monkey Leaf is a climbing vine but if not provided with anything to climb up it will quite happily trail, making it a delightful hanging plant.  The Monstera 'Monkey Leaf  is  reasonably tolerant of most light levels but will thrive in a sunny position, just avoid too much direct sunlight as this will most certainly scorch those thin leaves.  Water when the soil feels dry but don't allow the plant to completely dry out.  The Monkey Leaf, like most rain forest dwellers, loves humidity!
