Philodendron billietiae in 12 cm pot

Also known as Emerald Vine Philodendron and The Orange Stem Philodendron.  Native to Northern Brazil.

The 'Billietiae' has large, elongated heart-shaped leaves with serrated edges.  Glossy green in colour with prominent veining on stems with a distinct red hue. Another striking member of the Philodendron family. 

The Philodendron 'Billietiae' is an easy to care for tropical houseplant.  Preferring bright, indirect light this Philodendron will also tolerate low light levels.  Allow the soil to almost completely dry out and then water thoroughly ensuring you allow any excess water to drain away freely.  Preferring high humidity levels this plant will love a bathroom or kitchen or simply place on a tray of pebbles with a little water.
