Philodendron 'Cherry Red' in 6 cm pot

Commonly referred to as the Philodendron Erubescens Red.  Native to the tropical regions of Central and South America.

This attractive and increasingly popular houseplant typically thrives as an epithyte, clinging onto other plants for support, or as climbers in their natural habitat.  Known for its vibrant red new leaves and easy-care nature, this plant can add a touch of colour to any indoor environment.

 Tolerant of low light levels but will grow faster in bright, indirect light.  Avoid periods of direct sunlight as this may scorch the leaves.  Allow the soil to dry out between watering but water regularly.
