Sometimes referred to as the Friendship plant or Pilea Mollis. Native to Central and South America.
This plant has the most wonderful textured leaves. Dimpled with an almost quilted appearance resembling craters on the moon. The leaves are a vibrant shade of green with burgundy veins. Stunning!
The Pilea grows best in bright to indirect light, however, they will tolerate lower light levels. Water regularly, ensuring the soil never completely dries out. Thrives in humid conditions. This species of Pilea will stay relatively small, making it the perfect candidate for terrariums.
